General Equipment Rental Information
- We only accept cash or check
- All participants must sign a waiver
- You must be 18 or older to sign for yourself
- Those under 18 need a parent/guardian to sign for them.
- Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis, no reservations.
- Rentals are not available on government holidays.
Cross-Country Skis and Snowshoe Rentals
Cross-Country Ski Rental is closed until further notice. Trail conditions are quite poor, icy, and thin due to recent melt and freeze. In order to groom trails again there needs to be more snow. Feel free to come out with your own skis anytime at your own discretion during our trail hours 6:00am-10:00pm. We do not require a MN Ski Pass.
- Cost:
- Adults: $8 per person.
- Children: $2 per person.
- Free Rentals: Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.
- Hours: Open during normal business hours
- Last rental goes out at 3:30 pm.
- All equipment must return by 4:45 pm.
- Friday Extended Hours:
- Last rental goes out at 5:00 pm.
- All equipment must return by 5:45 pm.
- Maximum rental: 3 hours.

Canoe and Kayak Rentals
Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend
- Cost:
- $10 per single kayak.
- $15 per canoe or double kayak.
- We also offer punch passes: 5 punches (rentals) for $30!
- Hours: Open during normal business hours
- Last rental goes out at 3:30 pm.
- All canoes & kayaks must return by 4:30 pm.
- Maximum rental: 3 hours.
- Location:
- Can be used on our pond or Dobbins creek down to East Side Lake.
- Canoes and kayaks cannot be taken off property.
- There are 8 canoes, 6 single kayaks, 2 double kayaks.
- Life jackets are provided.

- Nature Center canoe & kayak classes take precedent over rentals therefore there may be a day where rentals are not available.
- We will not rent if weather conditions do not allow
- Flooded conditions
- Water level too low
- Thunderstorms
