Thank you to the Friends of the Hormel Nature Center, this bus trip is open to everyone! Join Nature Center staff on a coach bus trip to La Crosse, WI to explore one of the largest free art festivals and cruise down the Mississippi in the La Crosse Queen.

• If you are a current Friends member, the bus ride is free!
• If you are not a current Friends member, the cost of a bus ticket will be $50 per person. 
  • To be paid when you register to hold your spot.

There will be costs associated with this trip; such as:

• River cruise ticket: $20 – to be paid when you register to hold your spot.
• Any food or gift items you would like. 

Please register by contacting the nature center and then stopping out to pay your ticket fees. Limited to 35 people.

Artspire Art Festival: Artspire is an all-inclusive, free community art event that attracts, engages and connects our diverse community through meaningful arts experiences, including visual, interactive, performing, literary arts and dance. Produced and funded by the Pump House Regional Arts Center.
River Cruise: Step aboard the authentic replica paddlewheel river boat, the La Crosse Queen, for a narrated journey through the Upper Mississippi River. This scenic excursion takes you along the main channel, where you’ll learn fascinating facts about the river’s ecology, history, and significance in modern times. Beverages and concessions are available for purchase.

Schedule:
8:00 a.m.: Bus loads for departure from the Nature Center
10:00 a.m.: Arrive at Artspire Art Festival 
10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.: Time on own to explore art festival and eat lunch
1:30 -3:00 p.m.: River Cruise on La Crosse Queen
3:10 p.m.: Load bus for departure to Austin
5:00 p.m.: Back in Austin
